Yuletide recs: 3 x SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT
Fandom: P G Wodehouse - Jeeves and Wooster series
Title: Deus Ex [G]
Summary: What does Jeeves really do on his annual holiday away from Bertie? (Meta-ish crack crossover with, among other things, classical mythology.)
[What fun! Champagne with Cupid, and continual spot-the-crossover opportunities. For connoisseurs of clever, amusing crackfic.]

Fandom: Chaucer - Canterbury Tales
Title: Are We There Yet? (or, Fear and Loathing in Kent) [PG]
Summary: Snapshots of the bits of the pilgrimage that didn't have literary merit. It's three days' travel from London to Canterbury, and a lot of the pilgrims are jerks.
[Pilgrim outtakes - in gorgeous snarky pure-2008 dialogue that never misses a beat. Go look, for this has to be one of the funniest fics in Yuletide.]

Fandom: Beauty and the Beast (1991 movie)
Title: All There Is [PG]
Summary: An unexpectedly tender moment between a clock and a candle.
[Cogsworth/Lumiere ficlet, because "gay inanimate objects" need love too - and this is just plain "Aww!" with cuddles and candle-wax.]
